Horst Schroth was born on July 29, 1948, in Münchberg. He is a German cabaret artist, author, and actor. Initially, Schroth completed a degree in business administration, later pursuing studies in history and social sciences. During his academic years, he worked as a director's assistant at the theater and later transitioned to acting.

In the mid-1970s, Schroth, along with Michael Batz, co-founded the Free Theater Group "Theater zwischen Tür und Angel" in Hamburg. Read more on Last.fm
