Barbara Gaskin is an English singer who, with her musical partner Dave Stewart (former keyboardist of Egg, Hatfield and the North, and National Health), formed the Stewart / Gaskin duo in 1981. They had a number one hit that year in both the UK and Germany with a cover of 'It's My Party'. In 1983 they released 'Busy Doing Nothing', and in 1986 'The Locomotion'.
