Miroslav Šmajda (born 27 November 1988 in Košice, Slovakia) is a Slovak male singer, most notable for his participation on the Česko-Slovenská Superstar (based on UK Pop Idol), being ranked on the second place.

On 16 November 2011, it was announced by Rozhlas a televízia Slovenska (RTVS), that Šmajda will represent Slovakia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. Though later reports of misinformation surfaced and caused confusion, in the end Read more on Last.fm
