Elif Demirezer, known by her stage name Elif, is a German musician and songwriter with Turkish roots. Elif was born in Berlin as the daughter of Turkish immigrants and has three siblings. She grew up in the Moabit district of Berlin. In addition to performances in her school's musical and choir groups and guitar lessons, she wrote her first songs as a teenager. At the age of 16, Demirezer applied to the eighth season of the ProSieben talent show Popstars with her own song ''Fliegen''. Read more on Last.fm
