There has been at least two bands named Mono No Aware:


1) An experimental post-punk project from Spencer Curtis of Montreal Quebec. Since 2020 the project expanded into a band and the name was changed to Sunforger. Mono no aware (物の哀れ, lit. "the pathos of things") is a Japanese term used to describe the awareness of the transience of things, and a gentle sadness at their passing.
