There are several acts known as Basis.

1) South Korean music project group Basis (베이시스) founded in 1995. It consisted of Jung Jae Hyung, and 2 identical twin violinists Kim A Yeon and Kim Yeon Bin.

2) German hip-hop band Basis was active during the late 1990s. Its members were Vera Holthaus, Kami Manns, Edson Sifre Garcia and Ronny Gerulat. They broke through in Germany and Switzerland in October 1997, with the song Wenn ich nur noch einen Tag zu leben hätte Read more on Last.fm
